Three Asian - Canadian brands we love that you can support right now
As a Black-owned brand, we have had conversations in many circles on the importance of active support for BIPOC brands. We also know many of you are specifically looking to support more Asian-Canadian brands, but how do you do that if you don’t know who they are?
That’s why this Asian Heritage Month we are sharing three brands in our circle that we absolutely love. Having done business with them or used their services we can definitely attest to how wonderful they are.
It is important to note that in North America when most (not all) people use the term Asian, they are generally referring to peoples of East Asian heritage. We also recognize and respect that not all peoples from the continent of Asia self-identify as Asian. For the context of this blog post, we have included brands owned by folks of all Asian Heritage including East and South Asians.
